morning hand stiffness, what did you track

Has anyone found anything that actually helps with the joint stuff in your hands, especially first thing? Mine feel wooden for the first hour of the day. I am not asking for instructions, more what you tracked or brought up with your GP. I keep forgetting to mention it because sleep takes over the appointment.

Thank you Yvonne, and everyone who replied. This is exactly why I posted. Reading these has made me feel much less ridiculous, and I am adding a few notes before my next appointment.
